The TSUGI NETFIT V2 by PUMA Drops Today




Worn by The Weeknd as part of the PUMA Run The Streets campaign, the all-new TSUGI NETFIT v2 raises the bar in terms of customisation. Sneaker enthusiasts now have control and versatility over how they lace up. No matter the style, the need, or the shape, adapt your shoe the way you see fit, bringing customisation to another level.

The updated silhouette has a refreshed look with subtle changes to the upper. The new TSUGI NETFIT v2 features a knitted upper overlaid with the statement NETFIT mesh. With sculpted tooling featuring PUMA Ignite technology, the innovative sneaker has a progressive look, plus a high level of comfort for those on the go.

The TSUGI NETFIT v2 drops on 1st March for R1 899 at PUMA and selected retailers nationwide.

First Look: PUMA TSUGI Kori


The TSUGI is back with a new silhouette just in time for the season with the TSUGI Kori, engineered to protect from the elements and styled to perfection.

Featuring an aggressive rugged outsole, knitted sock collar, soft moulded overlays, and a woven heel gore, the TSUGI Kori offers plenty of support, grip and comfort. Constructed with water repellent materials and a neoprene construction, the sneaker keeps you dry and protected from the elements.

The TSUGI Kori is a season offering of the progressive silhouette that first launched earlier this year. ‘TSUGI’ simply translates to ‘NEXT’ in Japanese, incarnating the fusion of modernity, technology and traditions, and bringing a new wave of aesthetic to progressive streetwear. Developed from the TSUGI Blaze, the TSUGI Kori draws inspiration from the famous PUMA Archive, incorporating elements of the iconic Blaze of Glory running silhouette.


PUMA injected their most innovative running cushioning technology, the IGNITE FOAM, into the new TSUGI range. Strategically placed under the foot-bed, IGNITE offers ideal flexibility in the forefoot and cushioning in the heel for comfort. What gave runners the optimal rebound and comfort can now be enjoyed by sneaker heads on the streets looking for the latest high-tech streetwear solution.

Available in PUMA Black/White, Black/Olive Night and Rock Ridge/Birch from selected retailers throughout the country.

First Look: PUMA TSUGI NETFIT


Continuing their commitment to developing game-changing innovations PUMA has revealed NETFIT. NETFIT is debuting across many of PUMA’s top footwear silhouettes including both performance and lifestyle, including the latest Sportstyle silhouette, TSUGI.


TSUGI NETFIT features a unique lacing concept for a progressive look and extra comfortable fit. With the NETFIT all-new netted mesh, sneaker enthusiasts will now have complete control and versatility over how they lace up. No matter the style, needs, or shape, adapt your shoe the way you see fit. The options are limitless, bringing customization to another level and giving everyone the chance to be as creative as they possibly can.



The TSUGI NETFIT will be retailing for R1 999 from Saturday, 15 July 2017, and will be available from PUMA stores and selected retailers nationwide.

First Look: PUMA TSUGI SHINSEI Raw Pack




The TSUGI SHINSEI represents the new PUMA Sportstyle era, taking cues from the past and re-imagining them in a progressive way. The TSUGI SHINSEI pushes design to the next level with a unique side lacing pattern and all-new tooling and sole unit. Adding flexibility in the forefoot and cushioning in the heel is the IGNITE Foam dropped under the footbed.

The latest to drop in the TSUGI SHINSEI range is the TSUGI SHINSEI Raw Pack that features a knitted vamp and sock, rip-stop tongue and debossed quarter overlays for a premium and sophisticated look. It’s got the same progressive streetwear vibe but with relaxed, soft materials. Available for the first time in a tonal Black colorway as well as new color combos of Peacoat-Whisper and Marshmallow-PUMA White.


The TSUGI SHINSEI Raw Pack will be retailing for R2 499 and is available from PUMA SELECT Bree Street, Cape Town and Braamfontein, Johannesburg and selected retailers nationwide.

PUMA Drops the TSUGI SHINSEI in Olive Green


TSUGI is the newest silhouette to be introduced to PUMA’s sports-inspired Run The Streets footwear platform. 

‘TSUGI’ translates as ‘NEXT’ in Japanese, and the lifestyle sneaker is inspired by Japanese design, fusing modernity, technology and traditions to bring a new wave of aesthetic to progressive streetwear. 'SHINSEI' is Japanese for ‘REBORN’, and the sneaker takes this progressive philosophy a step further, featuring a unique lacing concept for a progressive look and extra comfortable fit. 


With TSUGI, PUMA combines their successful track record in designing Sportstyle Running footwear with their long-standing commitment to push the boundaries of innovation. PUMA injected their most innovative running cushioning technology, the IGNITE FOAM, into the new TSUGI range. PUMA Drops The All-New Tsugi Shinsei

By pulling the lacing along the lateral and medial side of the foot, the wearer is assured of the right amount of fit. The TSUGI SHINSEI also features a sock construction, nylon padded tongue and textile vamp for an ultra-snug fit. More than its functionality, it boasts a minimal, contemporary style that’s beautiful and unique to the market.
