RBA, Autumn/Winter 2015 Lookbook - Human is Beautiful

RBA (Rebellious Blessed African) specializes in street wear and fashion accessories. For Autumn/Winter 2015, they bring us a range of quality bucket hats, five panels and well-made snapbacks.

The brand’s campaign for 2015 is titled ‘Human is Beautiful’. This season the brand aims to shade light into the human beauty since we are overcrowded with negative narrative stories such as racism, xenophobia, classism, homophobia and sexism. The brand aims to inspire everyone with a positive outlook.

Peep RBA’s Lookbook for this season below:

The A/W 2015 ‘Human is Beautiful’ collection have 6 different snapback styles, 4 five panels styles and 5 bucket-hats styles. They have used heavy fabrics as pleather, light cork as well as light cotton to accommodate their five panels.

RBA was founded by Etienne Kankolongo in August 2013. For more information and to shop the A/W 2015 collection visit www.rba.com.

A First Look at Butan Wear’s Summer 2014 Snapbacks

Ahead of the impending summer season, Butan Wear brings us two new snapback ranges.

The ‘Protea77’ snapback is available in red/navy and white/charcoal. It features a flower print pattern, which is inspired by the definitive stamp series of 1977. Composed of a multitude of protea plants growing across South Africa. The front embroidery features the brand’s ‘undefeated’ logo, taking the form of a deconstructed African warrior shield.

The ‘Basket Case’ snapback is available in black/grey/white/mint. It features a pattern on the under-visor, which is inspired by the many intricate patterns found on African baskets across the continent. The front embroidery boldly features the brand’s ‘undefeated’ logo, taking the form of a deconstructed African warrior shield.

Butan Wear – Dope Snapbacks

Butan Wear brings us dope snapbacks to wear this season!
Have a look below and let us know which one is your favourite. These snapbacks are available online and also countrywide at various retailers.

The ‘High Rollers’ snapback has a Melton crown and a P.U. leather brim. The design is inspired by the Zulu rickshaw pullers that ride along Durban’s beaches. The badge on the left is a rickshaw carriage wheel and the 3D embroidery on the front features the rickshaw puller’s headgear, made of ox horns. The ‘High Rollers’ snapback is available in navy-blue/red/white/gold.

Continuing with their ‘Street Kings’ series, the snapback features a large applique embroidery in the look of the LA Kings, the famous Los Angeles ice hockey team. The snapback pays homage to the legendary team and is also an ode to the days of the hip-hop golden era. The ‘Street Kings 14’ snapback is available in black/grey/white.

The design of the ‘Triller Than Most’ snapback is a tongue-in-cheek take on the iconic draught logo. It features weed leaves as opposed to barley and hops. The snapback is available in black/red/white/gold.
