A Closer Look at Spree Men’s and Women's Autumn/Winter 2016 Collection

Spree presented their Autumn/Winter 2016 (AW16) collection on Wednesday, 2 March 2016. Today we take a closer look at both the men’s and women’s collection which is now available online.

For the Ladies:

The women’s collection has everything you would expect to see in an Autumn/Winter offering – cosy knitwear, blanket wraps, ankle boots, and those ultra-fluffy, faux fur jackets. Leading with ‘boho’ styles, Seventies trends and contemporary shapes, the Spree AW16 collection is full to the brim with amazing coats and glamorous maxi dresses.  Familiar shapes get a retro twist in shades of mustard, deep jewel greens and moody maroons, while details come from fringing on skirts and boots and lacing on necklines.

For the Gents:

The men’s collection all about ‘athleisure’ - infusing your active-wear with just the right amount of sharp tailoring and modern cool. Spree has all the essential items for the AW16 season including soft bomber jackets, joggers, chinos and slick sweaters to name a few.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Johannesburg Collection Preview: Fabiani – A Return To Form

Fabiani takes the suit to the street this season

Iconic menswear brand Fabiani gives classic tailoring a fashion forward pop by championing luxury street-wear - A/W2015’s hottest trend!

The fashion team identified a growing international movement towards the combining of contemporary garments with sportswear apparel.  The effortless juxtaposition results in an unconventionally edgy look fit for the modern man of today. Pioneered by the stylish and eccentric, the look has been reinterpreted and given a quintessentially Italian feel by drawing inspiration from 21st century vintage motorsport.

A Return To Form has its foundation in suiting but sees the introduction of urban street wear and represents a more thoughtful and measured way of dressing. The collection also aims to educate the Fabiani man on the intrinsic components of character pieces such as the iconic Wool Stretch Suit and how these traditional tailored garments can be given an urban spin.

At 9pm on Saturday 7th of March 2015 Fabiani will showcase the collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Johannesburg at the Melrose Arch Piazza. Polos emblazoned with Italian insignia, slim fit chinos, lux trainers and sporty headwear will be styled alongside bespoke one-off showstoppers. A Return To Form promises to deliver a sophisticated aesthetic point of view with an innovative Fabiani twist.
