Trapstar put their stamp on the PUMA x Trapstar Clyde & PUMA x Trapstar Clyde Perforated by inking their script on the Formstrip of the classic court sneaker.
Trapstar re-imagines PUMA’s latest progressive sneaker, the Tsugi, with the PUMA x Trapstar TSUGI Blaze. Amping up its presence to the next level, the upper is wrapped in premium paneled leather sock construction with gothic Trapstar branding on the heel. PUMAxTrapstar drop a dope Spring/Summer ‘17 collection which is inspired by West London street style and football

PUMA and Trapstar put their heads together yet again to launch their latest S/S ‘17 collection. Classic styles have been reimagined with premium touches such as the PUMA x TRAPSTAR Clyde (R2 499) and Clyde Bold (R2 599). Its classic court look is curated to give an authentic yet street steez. Material play is A1 on both styles, with uppers of premium nubuck and the other with buttery leather, both displaying Trapstar’s signature branding details. PUMA and Trapstar have focused on neutral tones like Burnt Olive, White and Black for this range.

The collection’s apparel includes all of the essentials infused with Trapstar’s underground subcultural influences, creating stand out pieces through reinventing classics. The archive parka (R5 999) has been reworked with premium utilitarian details, from the cut lines and stitching, to patch sleeve pockets. The woven hood has a reversible panel to compliment or contrast the shell however you feel like wearing it. A classic crew (R1 999) ups its game with an authentic Trapstar edge. Reworked with premium military inspired details, such as the outstanding sleeve pockets. The highlight design detail is the branded, removable woven protection piece on the back inspired by the utilitarian parka hood protection. Introducing the PUMA x Trapstar London 2016 Autumn/Winter Collection

For Autumn-Winter ’16, PUMA launches a collaborative collection with London-based lifestyle label, Trapstar. Teased in June with an exclusive PUMA Disc Blaze drop bearing the signature Trapstar “White Noise” graphic speckled sole, this season’s range includes footwear and apparel that combine street fashion, PUMA’s sports-inspired styles and the Trapstar crew’s passion for football.

As far as Trapstar is concerned, there is a star trapped inside everyone.  Forged from underground subculture, this London-based lifestyle brand – and its founders, Mike, Lee and Will – takes its influence from iconic cinema, photography, music, and contemporary art. Transcending the ethos of the brand through designs that follow true inspiration, not trends. Teaming up with PUMA, they remix their vision of streetwear inspired pieces with PUMA’s iconic sports silhouettes. Bold red hues, subtly contrasting details, and athletic elements update familiar designs while giving an edge to fresh apparel.
In the mix we have the return of court favorites, the Suedes (R1 799) though in a more simplistic approach, bearing the co-branded logo.
The collection’s apparel, which is a mix of jackets, tops and bottoms, sees a continuation of Trapstar’s underground routes crossing over with PUMA’s sportswear innovation.  PUMA x Trapstar Savannah (R3 399) is a breathable athletic style of jacket that stands out as a must have piece.  The original jacket has been reinvented with a premium football twist complete with transfer accents that are applied and laser cut for a bold effect.  This makes the style not only breathable; it also ties it in to its functional origins.  The hero jacket is available in a high contrast camo print, giving this essential city-exploring piece the Trapstar edge that when combined with the PUMA x Trapstar footwear, creates a strong streetwear inspired look.
Teaming a classic football kit with fearless street style, The PUMA x Trapstar Bib (R2 199) is a lightly padded vest that echoes the Trapstar identity with its tonal camo treatment.

First Look: PUMA x Trapstar DISC Blaze

PUMA collaborated with London street wear brand Trapstar on the DISC Blaze - one of PUMA’s iconic footwear silhouettes.

Conceived in the UK’s capital city, Trapstar was founded by Mikey, Lee and Will Trapstar who began making custom t-shirts for friends. It wasn’t long before celebrities, including PUMA’s Global Creative Director and Ambassador Rihanna, wore these bold, graphic t-shirts.

The PUMAxTrapstar DISC Blaze (R2299) has an all-over leather upper on a cleaner, simplified DISC sneaker. Finished in black, even the DISC cage has been given a soft nubuck leather treatment.

The white speckled midsole sits alongside a translucent red outsole, while the sneaker’s red colour-pop on its DISC strap and the graphic Trapstar logo on the heel highlights Trapstar’s design ethos, and achieves the ultimate balance between street wear and fashion.

The PUMAxTrapstar DISC Blaze will be available at Shelflife and Anatomy from 12 December 2015.
